Founded in 1988 FatFace has been part of the British high street for decades, but its story began somewhere a little bit more exciting than the shop floor. What started as hand-printed sweatshirts sold on ski slopes and along the coast by founders Tim Slade and Jules Leaver quickly grew into a brand shaped by the outdoors, community, and a slower, more considered way of living.
That spirit still runs through everything FatFace creates today. And when you design for the long term, thinking about what happens next is only natural. FatFace invests in its products, the planet and the people behind them, using responsibly sourced materials and working with factories that share its values and meet the highest standards. The brand actively measures and reduces its carbon footprint and achieved B Corp status in 2023.
Managing waste is part of that commitment too, making sure that when customers are ready to part with a piece, it can find a new home with someone who’ll love it, or, when that’s not possible, be responsibly recycled into something new.
What to Do with FatFace Clothes You No Longer Wear
If your FatFace favourites are no longer in regular rotation, that’s okay. Tastes change, lifestyles shift, and the pieces you once lived in can quietly slip to the back of the wardrobe.

When you send us a minimum of three qualifying FatFace items, you’ll help give those pieces a new shot at life. We’ll either find them a new loving home, or responsibly recycle them if they’re past their best.
And if a piece needs a little TLC, it’ll get it. Our in-house repair team know exactly what they’re doing, fixing rips, replacing missing buttons and tackling even the most stubborn stains, so more clothes can be revived and worn again.

Select the FatFace items you want to return using our simple online takeback tool. You’ll need to include at least three qualifying FatFace items to earn the reward. - Package & drop off
Reuse a delivery box or bag you already have, no new packaging needed. Take your parcel to a courier drop-off point. - Verification & reward
Once your takeback is verified, you’ll receive a 20% discount code by email for qualifying purchases. - Shop at FatFace
Use your code online at FatFace.com or show it to the store team at the till when shopping in-store.

Which items are eligible?
To redeem your 20% off voucher, you need to send us genuine FatFace items, but you can also send other brands to donate to Give Your Best.
What’s the minimum number of FatFace items you need to send to get rewarded?
You’ll need to send us three qualifying FatFace items in your takeback parcel if you want to get your voucher.
What’s the reward?
You’ll get 20% off your next FatFace transaction, with a minimum spend of £80.
Where can you redeem the voucher?
Online when you shop at FatFace.com or in any of their stores.
How long is the discount valid for?
You’ll have six months to redeem your discount at FatFace, so there’s no need to rush out and buy something new. Take your time, and shop with intention, for what you need, when you need it.
What happens if my items can’t be resold?
Nothing that we receive here at Reskinned ends up in landfill, so if your FatFace items aren’t in wearable condition, they will be responsibly recycled.
Can I donate other brands too?
Yes, you can donate up to 15kg of other fashion items through Give Your Best alongside your FatFace takeback.
How often can I send my Reskinned takeback?
You can send us FatFace takeback parcels up to four times per year and get your discount code. But make sure you check out our other takeback partners, because we’d love you to take part in those programmes too (and get even more rewards).
