In the ever-evolving world of circular fashion, collaboration is everything. At Reskinned, our partnerships with leading brands are what make it possible to keep clothes in circulation — and our Brand Partnerships Executive, Stephen, plays a key role in making that happen. We sat down with him to learn more about his journey, his passion for sustainability, and what it’s like to help brands take meaningful steps toward a more circular future.
As one of the newest members of the Reskinned team, I feel really lucky to have joined the business at such an exciting point in its journey.
I first discovered my love for vintage and second-hand fashion during my university days, and while studying Business Management & Marketing, I realised I wanted to build a career in sustainable fashion. When I came across Reskinned and started learning about its mission to keep clothes in circulation, it immediately clicked with me.
So, I made the move down from Scotland to London and joined the team five months ago. It’s been amazing to work alongside such passionate people who are genuinely committed to creating change in the circular fashion space.
Definitely being part of the innovation and positive change happening in this industry. It’s motivating to see how our work helps brands and customers rethink the lifecycle of clothing: giving garments a second life and reducing waste along the way.
When you see the results of a successful brand partnership — whether that’s an amazing resale drop or the number of takebacks coming in — it really drives home the impact we’re having.
Every day is a little different, which is what I love most about this role. I might be catching up with brand partners to discuss their takeback or resale programmes, pulling reports on our latest drops, or helping the team review upcoming collections in the warehouse.
There are also plenty of moments spent meeting with visiting brands, touring them around our facilities, and attending industry events to stay up to date with the latest circular innovations. I also collaborate closely with the wider team on upcoming campaigns, new brand launches, and ideas for how we can keep pushing the boundaries of what circular fashion can look like.
No two days are the same and that’s what keeps it exciting.
The best part about working at Reskinned is being part of a movement that’s tackling some of fashion’s biggest challenges — overproduction, waste, and the need for scalable circular solutions.
Working in this space means I get to help brands think differently about the lifecycle of their products. From the initial takeback through to resale, it’s about creating real, lasting impact. Seeing our partnerships come to life and make a tangible difference in how the industry approaches sustainability is incredibly rewarding.
Explore vintage and second-hand options. You can find some truly unique, high-quality pieces that you just won’t see on the high street anymore. It’s also a great way to develop your own personal style and shop more consciously.
And when you do buy new, choose pieces you love and know you’ll wear again and again. Quality over quantity always wins.
Without Stephen’s dedication and drive to build meaningful partnerships, we wouldn’t be able to deliver on our mission of creating a truly circular fashion system. His passion for sustainable fashion and his ability to connect brands with positive change make him an invaluable part of the Reskinned journey.
We’re proud to have Stephen on the team, helping to grow our impact and push the industry forward, one partnership at a time.
