Here’s the short version: Hand over the Urban Outfitters pieces you've stopped wearing, and we'll send you a £10 code to spend on something new at Urban Outfitters. Your old favourites get to have another life, and you get a fresh start, and we’ll be the ones keeping everything out of landfill, and in the hands (and wardrobes) of the people who will wear and love them the most.

It's a simple swap.
Send your pre-loved Urban Outfitters clothing, footwear, bags and accessories back through Reskinned, and once we've checked everything over, you'll get a £10 discount code for Urban Outfitters online.
And that doesn't just mean Urban Outfitters' own-brand pieces. We accept any brand sold on their site or in store.
We accept eligible items in any condition. Worn, faded, loved to within an inch of their life: it doesn't matter. As long as it's been bought from Urban Outfitters, you'll get the full takeback value for that item type, whatever state it's in.
Every piece that comes to us is sorted by hand and given the best possible next chapter. Depending on condition, that means resale, repurposing or recycling. Nothing good ever goes to waste.
How the Urban Outfitters Takeback Works
We’ve made it quick and easy to take part.
- Register your pieces. Head to the Urban Outfitters Takeback portal and add the items you'd like to send back to your takeback basket. Our online tool walks you through it.
- Pack them up. Reuse a delivery box or mailing bag you already have at home. Packaging from other retailers is completely fine, as long as it's clean and sturdy enough for the journey. No need to buy anything new (please don't).
- Send them off. Choose a print-at-home label or a QR code to use in store, then drop your parcel at your nearest drop-off point.
- Get your reward. Once your takeback arrives and we've verified your items, a £10 discount code lands in your inbox.
- Treat yourself. Spend your code at Urban Outfitters online while your old pieces start their next chapter.
A quick note on the numbers: your £10 code applies when you spend £50 or more, it's valid for 12 months, and it's for use online at urbanoutfitters.com. Send in several items at once and you'll get one code for the full amount, not a handful of separate ones.
What Happens to Your Pre-Loved Pieces?
Every item that arrives at Reskinned is assessed by hand, then sent down one of three routes.
Resale: If it can be worn again, it will be. Pieces in good condition are ozone-cleansed, a low-water process that breaks down bacteria and odour at a molecular level rather than just freshening the surface. Anything that needs a little work goes to our in-house repairs team first. Keep your eyes peeled for the resale store, you might be able to buy pre-loved Urban Outfitters sooner than you think!
Repurpose: Anything not quite right for the UK market will find a home somewhere better suited. We’ve got partners that we’ve worked with for decades who are the perfect fit for the bits that still have some life in them. You know the drill by now nothing ever goes to waste.
Recycle: Whatever can't be resold or repurposed is responsibly recycled. We’re one of the first companies in the UK working with fibre-to-fibre recycling, which means transforming the materials back into their original fibres, and then into clothes and materials all over again.

What can I send back? Clothing, footwear, bags and accessories bought from Urban Outfitters. If you bought it at Urban Outfitters, you can send it through the takeback programme.
What condition do my items need to be in? Any condition. As long as it's an eligible item, you'll receive the full takeback value for that item type, no matter the wear and tear.
How much is the reward? A £10 discount code to spend at Urban Outfitters online. The code applies on orders of £50 or more and is valid for 12 months from the date it's issued.
Is it free? Yes. Reuse a box or bag you already have, drop it at your nearest drop-off point, and that's it, there’s no postage fees and no hidden costs.
When will I get my code? As soon as your parcel reaches our warehouse, the team verifies that the items match what you submitted. Once that's done, your unique code is emailed straight to you.
What if my items can't be resold? Pieces that can't be resold are repurposed where possible, and anything beyond that is responsibly recycled. The aim is always to keep materials in circulation and out of landfill.
Can I use my code in store? Not at the moment. Takeback codes are for use online at urbanoutfitters.com, and they can't be combined with other offers or used to buy gift cards.

Is the takeback available outside the UK? Not yet. The Urban Outfitters Takeback Programme is open to UK customers only for now.
